Always learning
We’re committed to helping our people to develop themselves and to achieve their potential.
We invest in growing their skills and provide opportunities, resources and encouragement to learn.
We also understand the importance of having a great manager, and so our management training supports our managers (both present and aspiring)to be the best they can be.
Awards such as Investors in People (UK), where CPM have achieved one of the highest accolades, and our marketing apprenticeship scheme in France focused on developing our future rising stars, pay testament to this commitment to our people.
There are always plenty of opportunities throughout the group for our people to take on new challenges, progress their careers or broaden their experience.
We are committed to growing from within, and nothing pleases us more than seeing our people flourish and progress either within CPM or into our clients’ businesses.
We aim to ‘grow our own’ and progress people internally where we can. Italy’s Development Programme, which sees 70% of its Client Managers and Directors promoted from within, and Bastiaan, our Managing Director in Benelux, who started as a field agent, are a couple of examples of how far a career at CPM can take you.
Knowing you’ve done a good job is important, so we’re big on feedback and recognising good work.
One example of this is our Field Hero scheme in India, which recognises individuals for their fantastic work on behalf of our clients and efforts outside of work supporting their communities.
It’s something we were particularly proud to recognise during the pandemic.

Things move at pace at CPM, so we aim to keep everyone up-to-date and informed about what’s going on.
Communication goes both ways. It’s equally important to know what our people think.
We regularly ask for feedback on how we’re doing through our surveys and employee groups, such as our ‘Culture Club’ in Ireland.
As you’d expect from a global business, we’re a diverse team, and it’s important to us that we’re inclusive and everyone feels respected and that they belong.
There’s always more to do, so we’re committed to listening to our people and involving our teams to improve continuously.
For example, we’re heavily involved in Omniwomen, a global network championing the progression of women in business.
As another example, our International Contact Centre in Spain has been a proud sponsor of Barcelona Pride.
In addition, CPM Ireland is proud to co-lead the Today’s Women in Grocery network.
Our team’s health and well-being is a priority.
We provide a range of resources to support our people’s well-being and train all managers on how to support the mental health of their teams.
Mental Health First Aiders (UK), our Open Up platform for mental health support in Benelux and Healthy Eating sessions in India are just a few examples of our commitment.
